Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Kubernetes Architect to join our team on a remote basis. As a Kubernetes Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes-based solutions to support our clients’ containerization and orchestration needs. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in containerization and cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities:
Design and architect Kubernetes-based solutions for container orchestration, deployment, scaling, and management across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Lead the implementation and configuration of Kubernetes clusters, including cluster setup, network configuration, security, and monitoring.
Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications, define deployment strategies, and optimize resource utilization in Kubernetes environments.
Develop and maintain automation scripts, infrastructure as code (IaC) templates, and CI/CD pipelines for deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and applications.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for Kubernetes adoption, and stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the containerization and cloud-native ecosystem.
Skills Requirements:
Proven experience as a Kubernetes Architect or similar role, with hands-on experience designing and implementing Kubernetes-based solutions.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and concepts, including Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, PersistentVolumes, and Operators.
Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker, container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, and container management platforms such as Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with Kubernetes deployment and management on public and private clouds.
Strong scripting and automation skills, with experience using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Kubernetes and containerization technologies (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Docker Certified Associate) are highly desirable.
