Azure Cloud Architect – Remote (1-year Contract, C2C)

Job Description:
We are seeking a proficient Azure Cloud Architect to join our team for a 1-year remote contract position. As a pivotal member of our cloud solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure to meet the diverse needs of our clients. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with skilled teams, and drive the success of our clients’ cloud initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Architect and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging a range of Azure services and features to meet client requirements and industry best practices.
Lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions, including infrastructure design, application deployment, data management, and integration with existing systems.
Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver solutions that align with business objectives and project timelines.
Conduct architectural reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of Azure environments.
Stay abreast of Azure services, features, and best practices, and provide guidance on incorporating new technologies into client architectures.

Skills Requirements:

Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Architect or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Deep understanding of Azure services and features, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Active Directory, and Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform for automating cloud deployments and managing infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, encryption, and compliance standards on Azure.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Azure certification such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate is highly desirable.
