AWS Cloud Architect – Remote (1-year Contract, C2C)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Architect to join our team for a 1-year remote contract position. As an integral member of our cloud solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to meet our clients’ diverse needs. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with talented teams, and drive the success of our clients’ cloud initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) based on client requirements and best practices.
Lead the architecture and design of cloud solutions, including infrastructure design, application deployment, and data management, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions within specified timelines and budgets.
Perform architectural reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting to maintain the reliability and efficiency of AWS environments.
Stay updated on AWS services, features, and best practices, and provide guidance on incorporating new technologies into existing architectures.

Skills Requirements:

Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Architect or similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS.
Deep understanding of AWS services and features, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for automating cloud deployments and managing infrastructure.
Strong grasp of cloud security principles, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance standards on AWS.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional is highly preferred.
